MasterI3alla is DJ and Producer, focused in the discovery and deepening of the darker side of psytrance music, generally called Darkpsy. My sets range from forestish and alien sound scapes combining twisted tripy leads and scary haunted atmospheres, to more fast beats rising hightek frontiers, allways with deep basses and a bit of experimental touch in search of the ideal symbiose with the dancefloor. MasterI3alla creative energies have been channeled in the relentless pursuit of magic dancefloor synergistic vibrations, through developing and perfecting dj skills and collaborating in the organisation and promotion of Darkpsy events, which allowed me to play and exchange ideas with some of the most influent artists and DJ's on the scene. The Beatfreeks birth name is John Pleece and he was born on the eve of July, and is currently residing in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, United Kingdom. He was introduced to music at a fairly young age, when John was growing up his Dad used to play bass guitar, write and perform backing vocals in his own band, also his Dad used to be part of a DJ duo, playing out at weddings and parties and John helped out with the setting up of the rig, and this is how The Beatfreeks story began. John has been mixing records for near enough 14 years now and he is a self-taught vinyl DJ, originally mixing Drum & Bass, Techno and Trance, and although The Beatfreek is still a vinyl connoisseur at heart, he felt that is was time to make the switch over to a digital DJ set up. The Beatfreek has also been known under other aliases such as Psyvibes, DJ JT and Jonny P. Under his Jonny P moniker, he had held various radio residencies with regular live shows per week. It was tough to keep to the schedule but his drive, determination and a passion for fresh music kept him going, you could say that music was his drug of choice. The Beatfreek also Co-founded, Co-owned a digital only record label: Thee Unknown Recordings, and he also ran his own internet radio station too. Finally he ran his digital record label alongside Tyler Deveneaux and in later days Solace One, but due to personal issues beyond their control the label was eventually dis-banded. Label History: Thee Unknown Recordings was a digital only record label, releasing electronic music in various dance music genres. The project was originally thought up way back in late 2008 by two friends Tyler Deveneux, and Jonny Teknotik (who would later be re-named Jonny P). These two friends had shared a mutual interest in countless music genres, so it made perfect sense that these two friends eventually formed a musical partnership. When Thee Unknown Recordings was in it`s fledgling year they were simply named Thee Unknown. Thee Unknown was the chosen persona of the duo's musical partnership, with Tyler supplying the duos tracks and Jonny was the duos DJ, DJing under the name Jonny P, and playing out live with residencies on various radio stations. The duos passion for fresh music grew, and they decided to branch out and approach budding producers with the intention to set up their own record label, and this is how Thee Unknown Recordings was born. Present Day: After his record label and radio station closed it's doors, The Beatfreek has thrown himself back into his mixing. He now concentrates on experimenting and mixing with Hard Trance, Techno, Drum & Bass, and all things psychedelic. On a final note Jonny has also ventured into the world of producing, producing Drum & Bass and Techno, and is also the Co-Owner and in-house DJ of a new experimental record label: THB Records which he now runs with his brother. working on a new laptop with my traktor kontrol S2!!! 8 jaar geleden begonnen met draaien. kweet t nog goed me eerste house plaat : house of god. ;en gewoon gaan mixxen met de beatles , stones en andere oude platen van me ouders. 1 1/2 jaar gedaan met platen kleine verzameling gemaakt maar t werd te duur om elke keer een vernieuwende set neer te zetten. over gegaan op cd's maar al na een jaar loop je telkens met meer dan 300 cd's rond om veel zijdig te zijn. maar werd on overzichtelijk en de tassen werden te zwaar. toen heb ik een midi controlled meng tafel gekocht. vandaar uit flink gegroeid. door mijn voor opleiding middelbare school leerde ik goed organiseren. een sportdag voor 1200 basisschool leerlingen in het alphens sport park is een flinke logistieke uitdaging. dat deed ik met mijn klas + onze paralel klas. omenabij 40 leerlingen. van uit die gedachte ben ik gaan kijken. ok ik wil in de muziek wereld komen en blijven me brood kunnen verdienen. wat heb ik nodig: contacten contacten contacten.. ik wist dat al het kruit zetten op artiest alleen ehm voor lopig niet zou worden. khad een thuis basis nodig. dat is pop podium het Kasteel geworden.www.hetkasteel.nl ik had een organisatie nodig waar ik me prettig voel. waar ik kan leren maar ook mijn kennis aan hun kan overdragen. dat is de organisatie shut up and dance geworden. (www.fullmoonfestival.nl) heb in de zomer 2010 2 x hun feest bezocht in kijkduin. zo goed bevallen dus dak er bij aan t werk wou. nou was t zo dat zij nog een binnen locatie zochten voor in de winter. ik werkend in t kasteel 4 dagen later waren zij hier op bezoek. 13 nov 2010 combining the tribes door shut up and dance @ het kasteel was een feit. nu ik deze stappen heb gezet kan ik me nu ook meer gaan focussen om op zoveel mogelijk feesten te gaan draaien. dus als je sugesties hebt richie hawtin carl cox jeff mils
